The Tolmin gorge is the lowest and southernmost entry point into the Triglav National Park and Tolmin’s most important sight of nature. Tolmin Gorge is one of the most beautiful sights in Tolmin. Approximately 200 meters long and over 60 meters deep Tolmin gorge dug a blue-green river and formed narrow passages.
On the way through the gorge, we learn about its exceptional primal and wild appearance, stop at the thermal spring, and with the help of explanatory tables, we learn a lot about the flora in the Tolmin Gorge.
A visit to the Tolmin and refreshments (swimming) in the Soča River is exceptionally pleasant during the hot summer days. Nevertheless, it should be noted that suitable footwear is needed, as the trails are steep, at some parts difficult and are not suitable for young children.
